Hometown and your favorite trails:

I am a Vancouverite, born and bred. I love riding the North Shore all around, but there is something about riding Seymour on a cool day that gets the heart going with its perfect assortment of tech, loam, and flow.

What do you ride (type of terrain)?  What's the intended use for your new bike?

Depending on the day, I love a fast, flowy trail with the option to get the wheels off the dirt. If I am feeling like I have got the focus and the balance, I love to link steep, technical sections, especially when there might be an opportunity to hit a new feature.

What model/colour/size (and how does the bike fit you?):

I am riding a small Fugitive 140 in Chameleon Purple. Not only am I obsessed with the sparkle of the purple in the sun, I made the jump from 27s to 29s and wow, what a difference.

Bike spec/build (please list your build kit components). Did you do anything custom to make it special?

GX Build with Fox 36 150 fork and Fox Float X shock

Custom bronze sticker kit

Bar length: 780mm

Cranks length: 170mm

Stem: 35mm

How tall are you? What size frame did you get? How does it fit you?

I am 5’7 and riding a size small. I previously rode a Warden in a small and I find that the move to a Fugitive on 29s has made me feel more comfortable and balanced in corners, chutes, and in the air.

What do you love about your new bike?

This bike is the perfect fit for climbing a variety of trails and descending steep tech or fast flow. Not only is it fun to ride but it’s pretty to look at.

  • Very cool bike. I’m looking to order one myself. Where did you get the custom bronze sticker kit?
